Crystal Badach is an entertainment industry professional with 23 years of experience. Her education background focused on the arts with an emphasis on Theatre and film industry. An Honors graduate of, Jane Stevenson’s ‘The Make-up School ‘,on Much Music corner in Toronto, she began her career as a wig technician and  make-up artist at the Pant ages Theatre in Toronto, for ‘The Phantom of the Opera’. Her career path continued in an exciting direction including a World tour with International headlining music group ZZTop, as Road manager for their tour dance troop, video shoots with Jeff Healey and local backstage manager for Rod Stewart. In live productions such as these she has been responsible for troubleshooting, auditions, recruitment and training of talent as well as implementing motivational techniques to reach appropriate attitude, and image standards. Crystal not only was lead dancer ,choreographer, image/makeup artist  and mentor for the dance troop, she handled all tickets and backstage passes, media ,VIP, band guest /VIP list , and any other last minute requisitions the Talent or Tour manager may have required.

As a professional Make-up and Image Artist she has worked with several film and TV production units in the makeup /wig and wardrobe departments, she has taught classes for both technical and application training programs specializing in Makeup techniques.

Crystal also obtained her Estheticians license thru Vancouver’s Cosmetology Association, which is above and beyond her professional makeup skills and she is able to marry her Entertainment Industry and with those used to create personal style and image.

Discovering and creating what makes the person or production ‘come alive’ is a passion she finds exhilarating. Crystal finds great satisfaction when a production or client has benefited from her skills, and has organized Infomercials, dance contests through radio stations, fan appreciation sessions, and handled media relations and much more.

She takes an active interest in the community and has been a leader in Scouts Canada organization for 5 years. Crystal is also a `six year seasoned hockey mom ‘raising a very athletic son, giving time to the teams ventures and successes.

Having previous education and work involvement in Human Service Work she truly enjoys when she is able to work with people with special abilities and loves her trips with the Dream Lift charity to Disneyland where the children’s smiles that light up her world are brightest. Her American Sign Language skills, was a reason she was asked to join the mot recent Dream lift to Disneyland, making that her second trip, but not last! Crystal has volunteered for many Adaptive services in the Okanagan communities, empowering folks with special abilities and having them inspire her!

She maintains her membership with The Cosmetology Association of BC keeping informed of industry developments and has her sights focused on developing and adding to her skills and adventures in the exciting Film and Beauty Industries!
